Rob Daiker; Portland, OR producer/ musician with distinctive pop landscape, stream “All For A Kiss”

Rob Daiker as a musical project who has produced acts like Katy Perry and The Fame Riots has most recently released his album, “Binary Affairs” with a personal favorite making it’s way to a sweet, jazz-like pop tune with melodic piano influences. “All For A Kiss” takes the fourth spot on the track list, making a stand out song from the rest of the otherwise unique take on pop soundscape.

Burlington, VT metalcore four piece Dead Seas stream new EP “Compass”, anounce tour

dead seas

The boys in Burlington, VT’s melodic metalcore quartet Dead Seas have just dropped their new EP, “Compass.” Along with their Vestige Tour which will kick off on June 2, the quartet also re-did their 2014 single, “Keepsake.”

The five track EP grabs attention and has excellent presence as a graceful yet decently heavy set rendition of metalcore. Guttural growls and brutal breakdowns promise a fantastic live set, and prove the essence of metalcore.

Check out the tour dates below with The Floor’s Embrace and Saving Vice, and stream “Compass,” if you dig it hit that download button!

EYUKALIPTUS – Ithaca to Chi-Town to NYC

This week I come again with another upstate star in the making – Eyukaliptus. Hailing from the skate park next to Ollie’s Discount Market Place in Ithaca, NY, Eyuk has been producing music since middle school. He blends funky old school with his smooth mellow vocals that get stuck in your head like Elmer’s glue. Eyuk’s first big hit was his single “Winstons” released in 2015 and since he has released banger after banger of R&B hits.

Since “Winstons,” Eyuk has released two projects, one of which as since disappeared from his soundcloud page to perhaps see a wider studio release in the future (But that’s just speculation). Here is his other project entitled Dead.:

In the mean time Eyuk has not stopped releasing singles and most recently came out with two new visuals. One for a rising classic “Juke” and the other for a new single with a super funky low-fi sound. Watch Zombie Eyuk battle the record store loiterer’s in his new music video for “City Slicker” below.

And his newest smash hit “Juke”:

Eyuk has evolved a lot since his days performing in the Kava Bar basement in Ithaca, and these couple tracks prove that he truly has star potential.
